Yep. It’s bad when drivers say they didn’t see a child in the crosswalk and that’s why the child died or another child got hit because the driver said the sun was in their eyes.
If you can’t see and react appropriately when driving to avoid human beings in your path please, for the love of god do NOT operate a 5000 pound vehicle. You’ll be fine. The person you hit will probably die.
Another reminder: it’s not just incumbent upon you as a driver to stop at a stop sign. You MUST look BOTH WAYS before proceeding through the intersection.
