 That's interesting. I assumed these flights were related to criminal activity on the ground and the search for perpetrators..

I agree the noise is really bothersome. But the problem is that the airspace around our neighborhood is already highly restricted and the vast majority of operations are military, law enforcement and medical. Practices to limit noise, like flying at higher altitudes and limiting nighttime flights, aren’t really feasible for those kinds of operations. There may be some room around the margins to improve the level of noise, but don’t get your hopes up for a big change.
