Biden can’t appoint anyone until their term expires.  Three of the nine expire in 2022, not enough to give Biden a majority of appointees

I went today to complain to the post office on 650 Pennsylvania AV, was given the 2 phone numbers of USPS on L st which services 20003. I tried both numbers which rung for ever with no pick up whatsoever. I tried the USPS 800 number and got a recording accusing the pandemic for all the problems experienced by the public + a warning that will be all the answer you will get. Should we organize a rally in front of the White House? Or a petition to Biden? The situation brought about by Trump and its administration is intolerable for the citizens and the economy. Let’s remember that the Post Office is traditionally under government control, I.e paid by taxpayers money, you and me.

I was listening to C-span radio (which we can get ON the radio… no streaming!  best part about living in DC) and there was this poor exasperated women from Nebraska (or the Dakotas?) that was pulling her hair out about receiving packages… usually taking weeks!! So it’s happening all over the country.  It took a letter I mailed from Penn Ave PO two weeks to get it to NYC!

I do not have time to do the research but it clearly the PO is not working and Gina is right the PO is NOT meant to be a money maker.  Can someone look into this??
