[Lincolnparkdc] rose rosette disease

As I understand it the only way to control it is to dig them up and dispose of the earth and plant by either burning them or bagging them and disposing without any other plant material.
I understood that roses would not grow in the same spot for years but I am not an expert.
I was sad not to hear from the Arboretum when I called as I can only believe at the pace this diseaase it going it’ll be down the hill pretty soon. White House Rose garden?
I’m going to take notes around to the infected gardens to give them a heads up as I walk the puppy. I believe many people have NO idea. If all of you could pass the word around as well, it might help..
