No, you can get your vehicle inspected if you are living out of state! My
daughter had to do that. There’s somewhere on the DMV website that tells
you....it’s one of the questions or options or something—I forget but I
found it w/o difficulty. You have to print out a form and take it to an
auto service place wherever you are—and they answer the questions or
whatever on the form, and you send it back to DC. I forget exactly but
you’ll see it all online!
