[Lincolnparkdc] USPS issues

It sounds like he left himself “drops”. Left the mail for each block at the end of the block with the plan to get it to deliver when he gets back to that block.  They used to do this in the blue/ street mailboxes which have mostly been removed. 
Saves the carrier from carrying 50+ pounds of mail at the beginning of the distribution. 
Residents complain if USPS double parks, so they can’t just continue to drive and double park every 1/2 block. 
If the carrier doesn’t do this, and each block goes to look for a new legal parking spot, we can all expect to get out mail once every 2-3 years.
