You follow any helicopter or airplane (except for military, which is a lot of them around here) at
https://www.flightradar24.com/airport/dca
Or
https://globe.adsbexchange.com/

These show the “tail number” or registration number of the aircraft.
N911AS is DC Police (contains 911, get it?)
N22PP or others with “PP” are US Park Police
Almost all the others you hear won’t show up.

Good morning,

There has been an unusual amount of activity this morning with helicopters flying overhead and sirens. Most of it seems to be slightly north of Stanton and Lincoln Parks. Does anyone know how we can check police activity so we don't wander off toward a crime scene or know whether we should be watching for something (vehicles, suspects)? I couldn't find anything on the DC Metropolitan Police Department website.
