[Lincolnparkdc] Helicopters/police activity

Not sure what it was about, but the helicopter was closer to Eastern Market and the Metro.  Here was its path:

Good morning,

There has been an unusual amount of activity this morning with helicopters flying overhead and sirens. Most of it seems to be slightly north of Stanton and Lincoln Parks. Does anyone know how we can check police activity so we don't wander off toward a crime scene or know whether we should be watching for something (vehicles, suspects)? I couldn't find anything on the DC Metropolitan Police Department website.
