I’ve had tons of dental work done in the course of a lifetime, including extensive periodontal work. The best I have ever found is the periodontist I am presently using, Dr. Francisco Carlos, Northern Virginia Periodontics.  703-534-1766.  You do have to travel a little.  I see him at their Falls Church office, downtown Falls Church just off of I-66, so it’s a fairly easy trip.  Worth every minute. They also have a new Alexandria office thatI’ve never visited.
