[Lincolnparkdc] Pet Insurance

We have Trupanion and have been happy to have it overall.
We've had several dogs in the past and no insurance and have paid tens of
thousands out of pocket (pancreatitis, diabetes (from the pancreatitis),
tumors/cancer, etc.)

This pet insurance doesn't pay for regular vet visits, immunizations,
spay/neuter, etc.
They also don't pay for hereditary conditions. Don't know about others.

However, Trupanion did pay for all of our dog's knee surgery (minus the
office visits). The reimbursement more than paid for our monthly premiums
to the date of surgery.

FYI, Trupanion was recommended by two vets who thought it paid the most
claims. I'm sure someone has done the research on that.
