[Lincolnparkdc] Package Thief / here, too

 I'm sorry to hear that. The same thing happened to me between 2:15 and 4:00pm on Saturday, 100 block of 9th Street, NE. The package was torn, the contents removed. I knew a package was due to arrive, so I checked three times in the morning and once at noon, but that was not good enough. Pretty soon we'll have to sit outside and wait for the deliveries. I reported the theft to the police, FedEx, and the shipper. But unless the shipper files a claim with FedEx, I'm out the money I spent. My neighbor told me same happened to him the week before--15 minutes after his package was delivered. It's discouraging.

This clever thief stole the contents of one of my packages today at 155 pm in Broad daylight – please keep your eyes and ears open for suspicious activity.   The person in question was clearly avoiding the camera we have placed at the door so that he would not be caught.
