[Lincolnparkdc] Alley Thefts - Secure Your Bikes!

I've lived on the Hill for a long time, and I've had a couple of nice bikes
stolen over those years. Absolutely nothing seems to work except keeping
them inside the house. I wish that were not the case, but anywhere that
can be reached from the street or alley, lock or no lock, just isn't good
enough. I've always wondered why MPD doesn't run a sting operation or get
the after-theft fencing operation, but an MPD captain friend of mine had
expensive bikes stolen out of his locked garage, and he was just as
frustrated as the rest of us. The mind boggles at the network they must
have to dispose of all those stolen bikes, but that is "over my pay grade."
I just keep my current bike inside.
