[Lincolnparkdc] Heads up: overnight car rifling on 12th

As a reminder to everyone, keep your car’s remote-control key protected from being cloned. You can clone one of these devices with inexpensive technology and they scan for them as they walk past your house. Do not keep it near the front door or windows (i.e. if your bedroom window is on the front of the house and you have a nightstand or dresser near the window). This is within the range of their scanners. Keep these keys protected by putting them in a drawer or box, at lease 15 feet from the front of the house. Every wall (i.e. drawer or box cover) will impact the signal and make it harder to scan and then clone. If you can unlock/lock your car from where you store it, it can be scanned and cloned.

So frustrating as it happens on north carolina often. Never breaks anything, but always rifling through car looking for quick grabs.
I think the person gas some device, I'm typically diligent on locking

If your car is on 12th between Indy and LP you may notice some disarray in your car interior. We lost a tire pressure gauge, cheap sunglasses, and an iPhone cord, but not child seats, a wrench set, or jack knives. Was pretty sure I locked it but was trying to get two kids out and who knows. If you’re at about 127 12th and have any camera footage I’d love to see it. --
