[Lincolnparkdc] Revised Diagrams for the Kentucky Avenue Advisory Bike Program are now available

Please find attached DDOT's revised diagrams for the Kentucky Avenue Advisory Bike Lane Project. I  received them this afternoon from WIll Handsfield, the DDOT project manager. This will be the document utilized for the discussion in the community meeting hosted by the Lincoln Park Town Crier next monday evening, November 9th. Many thanks again to Tom Woteki for hosting this community meeting.

Anyone on my ANC 6B05 distribution list, you've already got all this information and links in an email I sent out last this afternoon.

Will  has confirmed that he will participate in the community meeting next monday . Councilmember Charles Allen is also a probable. The two ANC commissioners representing portions of the Kentucky Ave se/Independence se/13th st se intersection (me for 6b05 and Commissioner Chander Jayaraman for 6B08) as well as Commissioner Kirsten Oldenburg, the Chair of ANC6B transportation committee,will also be there.

The document is also available on the DDOT Notice of Intent (NOI) page for the project. For comparison of changes, note that previous diagrams disseminated by DDOT are also available on that site.

The Kentucky Avenue/Independence Ave/13th St SE intersection plans are on page 11 of the document. The Kentucky Avenue/East Capitol Intersection is on page 12. The diagrams on the other pages of the document refer to other segments of the project's proposed design. The full project extends from the corner of Kentucky and East Capitol all the way down Kentucky Avenue SE up to Barney Circle.


Once we've had a chance to take a close look, a proposed agenda for Monday's meeting will be drafted and sent around for comment. Probably tomorrow evening.
