[Lincolnparkdc] Lincoln Park closed

Several days ago Mayor Bowser closed all DC Playgrounds and, I think, parks under the jurisdiction of the DC Government.  Lincoln Park is a National Park and thus under the jurisdiction of the National Park service.  To make a long story short, there are two separate jurisdictions that are responsible for playgrounds and parks in DC.Hazel Kreinheder

I'm shocked -- shocked! -- to learn that the National Park Service and the federal government are sending confusing messages on coronavirus. ;) 
Yes, definitely two different messages. 
Those signs were placed in the general area, by the Lincoln statue, not the playground, after the police made people disperse prior to dusk, about 5:30 p.m. 
However, I think you are fine as long as the police are not there. If the cops show up, be warned that I was told they were  writing tickets last night. 
Perhaps someone could ask Eleanor to clarify.

Not that i'm advocating for heading over. It is just unclear messaging.
