[Lincolnparkdc] RIP, our neighbor, George Valentine

Some of you probably knew George Valentine, if not by name, perhaps by
sight. George walked his black pit bull, Cuddles, a couple of times a day
at Lincoln Park.

George has died of Covid-19.

A sweet man, loving father and dedicated civil servant, George frequently
met a group of dog owners who gather at 7:30 a.m. at the Lincoln Park.

He was such a positive person, aways with a smile and a funny comment or
anecdote.

George, who had a degree from Harvard Law School, worked for more than 16
years as D.C.’s Deputy Attorney General before joining the mayor’s legal
team last year.
