 Tomorrow, June 26th is the scheduled day for a bill to be voted on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to establish Washington D.C. as the 51st State of the United States of America. This is the first time such a bill will come for a vote in the U.S. House for 25 years. Assuming, as expected, the bill is approved by the House, the Senate would also have to approve. And, yesterday, Mr. Trump announced that, if the bill ever came to his desk, he would veto it.
