[Lincolnparkdc] Fwd: Ken Burns on monuments

At this point, I regard intervention as my professional responsibility, if
that doesn't sound too pretentious.  (I recently retired from the history
faculty at Catholic University.)  I feel a bit like a plumber who sees a
post that says it's perfectly safe to flush your old panty hose down the
toilet.  The plumber would be honor-bound to reply, right?
