[Lincolnparkdc] Fireworks late at night

I imagine those of us who are bothered by the fireworks should contact the
Mayor's office and/or Charles Allen? Seems like they are too dispersed for
a call to the police, and for that matter it may not even be illegal.

Does anyone know where & why we?re hearing fireworks from 10pm to 11pm most
nights. They?re big, loud and coming from the east/southeast.
And how do we make it stop?
Thanks, Lynn

Totally agree. It has become a nightly event happening on and off for a
couple of hours. Our dog has stopped going out for walks at night as a
result.

This should be a great free program from Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz.
They do a lot of educational programs, but now virtual.

> Jazz is recognized around the globe for its rich cultural heritage, drawn
directly from the African American experience in the United States. From its
origins in the early 20th century, jazz has contributed to and been a
reflection of American culture and is widely considered to be the only truly
original American art form. Today, jazz is studied, performed and
appreciated by people worldwide, and has inspired countless other artistic
styles and genres.

in grades 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 are welcome to register. Limited slots are also

would like the opportunity to ask a question, live on Zoom, to our
presenter!
