[Lincolnparkdc] Missing mail with gift cards

Neighbors,

I know many of us have had recurring problems with USPS delivery.  This
week we didn’t receive mail most days.  We’ve had at least 4 personal
greeting cards containing gift cards and one rebate Visa card that have
never showed up.  We know that a couple of the cards were used, which leads
us to believe that someone who works for the Postal Service is actively
screening and stealing mail before delivery.

Have others had similar issues?  Usually mail will just take long to be
delivered but eventually shows up.

We’ve cautioned family against sending anything of value via mail, but that
doesn’t cover the range of people and businesses that send things of value
in the mail.

I’ll be filing a complaint with USPS to request an investigation and would
encourage others to also report any missing items of value.
