Agreed.
How about rows of those hard plastic pylons separating the bike lanes from
vehicle lanes and around corners of intersections (as done around Maury
school at 13th and Constitution N.E.).
Speed cameras are contentious (further delaying any action to resolve the
problem), flawed, and often abused by DDOT and traffic adjudication as a
pure revenue source. I would like to see one less supposed objective
barrier between citizens and their government; the veracity of speed
cameras are always in-question. Plastic pylons are fact, if you hit one
it's on you for not controlling your vehicle.
