[Lincolnparkdc] mice!!

Does anyone have any advice on dealing with mice?! 

I have had them in my house off and on over the years, but have been able to keep them under control with a combination of traps (and keeping the house impeccably clean!!). Unfortunately my current tenants aren't having such luck. They have tried traps, but have had caught very few and the population is persisting. 

Has anyone had success with other methods — poison, exterminator, etc? 

(Also, I’ve been told in the past that anything is just a short-term solution (and needs to be repeated) because the mice can travel from house to house.)
