[Lincolnparkdc] Reducing lanes on Pa Ave SE

Hello All,

Regarding the bike lanes on Pennsylvania, if I lived on or near
Independence I might be concerned about increased traffic there too.

But I would also like to widen this discussion.  As a biker, however, the
lack of lanes on this major commercial street is S.C.A.R.Y.  Many people
bike to run errands between 2nd and, oh, 13th or 14th--and  the speed of
the cares is, as I noted above, scary--and really unsafe.  I hope the
traffic on Independence doesn't change that much, but the safety issue is
also paramount. Biking is such a great way to get around and most of
us--not all, I know--are very careful riders.
