[Lincolnparkdc] Why in times of COVID-19 you cannot walk/run/bike close to each other.

Hi all!
Appreciate all the neighborly information sharing and helpful social
distancing reminders. I did want to raise a flag regarding the Medium post
shared yesterday. Seems that the claims and conclusions it makes about
social distancing while jogging, biking, and other forms of outdoor
exercise have yet to be scientifically tested, vetted, or verified. Here's
more information on this:
https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/v74az9/the-viral-study-about-runners-spreading-coronavirus-is-not-actually-a-study
In any case, staying as far away from others during this time is certainly
intuitive, and all of us urban dwellers should be doing that to the best of
our ability in the common spaces we share and enjoy!
Take care,
Stacia
