They are probably the same as the Car2Go and Free2Move cars, which have residential parking permits.  They can park anywhere you can park with a Ward 6 sticker.

 

They are supposed to be parked perpendicular to the curb, between two cars, so that they take up the minimal amount of space.  Although it is hard to imagine a moped taking more than a half or quarter of a parking place, you can probably just move it to somewhere more convenient for you.  Just take it off its kickstand and you can push it.  It will beep and flash its lights, and may even notify the company that it is being tampered with, but you should still be able to move it a few feet if that will create an additional parking place.

 

Eventually, someone will drive it off; they always do.

Hello Everybody.  There has been a rental moped in front of our house for over 24 hours.  It has prevented multiple cars from parking.  Are these mopeds not subject to the zone restrictions like every other non zoned parked vehicle?  Thanks.
