Hi Neighbors,

I'm reaching out on behalf of the Ward 6 Public Schools Parent Organization (W6PSPO) to invite DC parents to join us on our next community meeting. When: May 21, 6:30-8:00pm
Where: Brent Elementary School (301 North Carolina Ave., SE)

We're dedicating our May 21 meeting to CM Allen's School Transparency Amendment Act of 2019<http://lims.dccouncil.us/Legislation/B23-0199?FromSearchResults=true> (hearing is on October 2, 2019) LaJoy Johnson-Law will join, and EmpowerEd will co-host.

CM Allen will be there at 6:30pm, will introduce the discussion, give us an overview. We would also like to spend time planning how we will organize around the June 26 hearing of CM Grosso's bill, and engage the broader parent/caregiver and open gov community.
