[Lincolnparkdc] Window Blinds and backpacks

Hi neighbors-

the bench in our pocket park at at Massachusetts and A St SE has apparently
become a dumping ground for stolen items.

If you were expecting a package of Bali window blinds, three are by the
bench (photo attached).

There are also two discarded, empty backpacks (photo attached) now beneath
the beer cans under the bench. Someone also put a grill and a bicycle near
the bench.

If the police, and or any officials, who can help are monitoring this
listserv, please note we are having an ongoing issue with package theft in
the area.

This bench is also a focal point for open drug use and alcohol consumption,
as well as sex acts.  Please patrol often, on foot, and help us make this a
safe place for kids to play once more.
