[Lincolnparkdc] Bike to School Day is tomorrow Wednesday, May 8, 7:30am @ Lincoln Park - All Are Welcome!

Please join us tomorrow at Lincoln Park for our annual celebration of Bike to School Day!

Families from 16+ local schools will meet at Lincoln Park (near Emancipation Statue) for student performances (including Eastern HS Marching Band and Tyler and J.O. Wilson cheerleading and step teams) activities, light snacks, swag, and a program emceed by Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen.

Show up early because it's over in a flash - bike trains and walking/scooting groups depart starting 8:15am so we all get to school on time!

Adults are encouraged to wear white in remembrance of neighbor Dave Salovesh and all those who have lost their lives on DC streets. Students wear school uniforms or tshirts. The Eastern HS marching band will escort Maury, Eliot-Hine and Eastern HS students up North Carolina Ave.
