[Lincolnparkdc] Personal Injury Attorney Recommendation?

All,
Can anyone recommend a good personal injury attorney in DC or Maryland? I have a friend who lives in and was rear-ended in DC by a Maryland resident (100% at fault and ticketed) with Maryland Auto Insurance. Friend has found that MAIF is living up to their reputation as difficult company with which to negotiate. Doubtful there would be a need for litigation, but telephone negotiations and more knowledge of personal injury law and bodily injury claims than friend has. Not seeking high dollar settlement, but hoping to find someone who will work on contingency.
Any suggestions?
