Hello,

My name is Amanda, and I live here on Lincoln Park within Capitol Hill. I wanted to reach out to the neighborhood to see if there are families seeking some weekend evening babysitting, as well as the potential of needing summer childcare on a regular basis. I am open to both, and thinking ahead about summer plans too.

A little bit about me! I am a 23 year old female pursuing a Master’s of Social Work at The Catholic University of America in D.C. I was a psychology major in undergrad at JMU, and grew up in Northern VA. I love working with younger kids and have many years of experience working with 10 and under’s! I’ve worked as a summer camp counselor with preschoolers, done many babysitting gigs, nannying during the summer, and most recently spent several months providing respite and attendant care services for a young boy with special needs.
