We got a Ring doorbell just last week.  The picture quality and app are
pretty good.  Jury is still out on the motion detection that triggers video
recording and how well that works.  What I liked about the Ring is that you
can have it run on a rechargeable battery if you don't have doorbell wiring.
We've had ours on for about 5 days and the battery is still at 65% without
having been recharged yet.  To recharge, the doorbell comes off and you just
use a regular USB phone charger.  

One I don't recommend is the Arlo wireless.  We originally got several of
them and found them to be next to useless.  Lots of trouble connecting them
to wifi.  The motion detection would record hours of nothing, then not even
detect us coming in through our front door.  They require odd-sized,
expensive batteries that have to be changed every ~2 weeks.

Yes film 24/7 and it?s stored for 1 day, but we pay to have it stored for 1
week.  Which I believe was needed to get the cost reimbursed.

Double Ivar shelves with cabinet. We bought this from a neighbor and it
doesn't work in our space- we didn't realize there are two widths and this
is the wider version of the Ivar.

Unassembled and ready for pick up.  We can also drop off on the hill. Pic
below of the basic configuration.
