    Please send me  a direct email  with any case numbers , etc. that you got when you made the service request and any other relevant information and I'll follow up with DDOT next week and see if I can be of any help. I'll get back to you and let you know. If, in the meantime, the pothole gets filled, please let me know that as well.

The pothole repair was scheduled for completion in late January according to the response I received from 311 when I submitted the service request.  The repair remains undone.  I called the Department of Transportation today and talked with a very helpful staff person.  The bottom line:  the repair of the pothole will be done "soon."  She also said that the repair will be a temporary fix because the alley is expected to be cobble'stoned "as soon as the weather turns."    That's it for now.
