Hey Folks...

Another update on the latest new restaurant on 8th st. SE which is a must!!!   Please go try it.  Our ethnic diversity in food in our neighborhood has been limited... until now.

The new place is about a month old and has finally replaced the absurd and ambiguous place called Bricklane which never took off.  

The new place is called Mikki.   It’s Moroccan.   Food is exquisite, decent wines, Moroccan hospitality... which makes everyone feel like they are family. 

We met Danny the bartender, Siham (Sisi) the hostess, and Azi (the chef).   The chef has amazing skills.  They have done this rolling opening between thanksgiving and New Years.  And they have a big NYE event with food and drinks if interested. 

They are trying various types of food to test out if diners will like certain dishes to solidify the menu.  So... You have the luxury of trying dishes without having to pay for some
of them.    And the food you pay for is exceptional!!!
