[Lincolnparkdc] Fwd: Crime Alert 1st District (PSA 101-108)

Here's an abbreviated, second hand account of what happened:

Approximately 11:45 our au pair got out of an uber pool at the corner of
East Cap and KY (east side).  She walked south down KY Ave.  She didn't see
anyone in front of or behind her.

She entered the gate at our house, about halfway up the block and felt
something sticking in her side. She turned and a man was standing there
with a gun demanding her wallet.  Two other men were with the man with the
gun.

She screamed and said she was going to call the police and all three fled
north up Kentucky Ave.

About six MPD cars arrived very quickly after a 911 call was placed minutes
after the incident and they were on scene last night until about 1:00 AM.
Detectives have been following up today with phone calls to neighbors and
the victim, as recently as late tonight. I believe between MPD and myself
we've contacted everyone we know with cameras in front of their houses on
the east side of KY from around the middle of the 100 block up to East
Capitol.

It's possible that MPD has checked for other footage along east capitol
that I'm not aware of.  In fact, it's not clear whether the three
assailants turned on east capitol or went north through Lincoln Park.  But
if anyone on East Cap near KY on this list serve has a camera and wants to
check footage from about 11:30 - 12:00 it could prove helpful.
