Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen is Holding a Town Hall Meeting Tonight:

Join Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen, his team, and your neighbors for a discussion of the FY 2020 budget for DC at the Arthur Capper Community Center, 10000 5th St., SE.

Councilmember Allen will review the budget process, break down what Mayor Bowser has proposed, share some of his own priorities, and then open the floor so residents can share what we think needs to be funded.

This annual event helps Councilmember Allen hear directly from Ward 6 residents on what is most important to us. Don't worry if you don't really understand how the budget process works, or even how it fits into DC government. This is an opportunity to learn and share your thoughts about what the financial priorities should be for your neighborhood, our ward, and the city as a whole.

The town hall will be held tonight, Tuesday, April 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the upper room at the Arthur Capper Community Center (1000 5th Street SE).
