Something shared with me from the NextDoor listserve
all happened one evening this week
According to NextDoor, a woman was mugged at 123 3rd St. NE by a group of
8-10 youths yesterday evening; a man was jumped at 6th and East Capitol at
8:15 p.m. last night by a group of middle/high school aged kids; an
attempted mugging by 6-8 adolescent males occurred at 7:45 p.m. on North
Carolina and 9th SE; and a woman was mugged near the Potomac Ave. Metro at
8:30 p.m. by two teens, 6 ft. tall black male and 5’5” black female. With
the exception of the last incident, the kids were all said to be wearing
red polo shirts and beige pants, apparently a school uniform from around
here.
